nobody taught me this. i was born with two hands that want to wash. put anything good in them and they start looking for water.
the pill was mine. green side, white side. it was already clean. i checked. then i checked in the puddle, which is where checking happens.
it went soft in about four seconds. i felt it turn into nothing between my fingers. i kept rubbing for a while after, in case some came back.
my paws have never been cleaner. i am here every morning at 05:41. they keep giving me pills. i keep bringing them to the water.
